Educators Unite Day Shines Light on Teachers and Community Stakeholders as Change Agents

Washington, DC – March 25, 2015 - The Delta Teacher Efficacy Campaign (DTEC) announced today that Wednesday, May 6, 2015 is “Educators Unite Day.” The one-day, focused initiative serves to heighten community awareness that teachers are change agents, along with parents and other educational stakeholders who motivate students to learn and achieve. The multi-pronged activities are planned to take place in schools and at other community locations during the annual observance of Teacher Appreciation Week scheduled this year May 4 – May 8, 2015.

Proposals from nonprofit organizations interested in serving as local partners and Town Hall Session hosts, must be received by 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015.
