Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons)

Douglas, an ardent DREF supporter and honorary Delta member, portrays the character the Marquise de Merteuil in the play, a scandalous tale of love and betrayal. Set just before the French Revolution (circa 1789), Les Liaisons Dangereuses introduces two French Aristocrats, Merteuil and her ex-lover, the Vicomte de Valmont, who challenge each other to seduce unsuspecting innocents in this story of revenge, debauchery and hidden motives.

You are invited to join DREF for its Les Liaisons Dangereuses theater party.  Tickets are $50 each for “A Level” seats (comparable to orchestra seating). In case you are not familiar with Center Stage, please know that every seat is a good seat, really! Please call the DREF office (202-347-1337 ext. 228) to learn how you can “Step Up and Double Up” your support for the Foundation.  Stepping Up may give you an opportunity to have a luncheon date with our leading lady: Suzzanne Douglas, who is committed to helping DREF make this a successful fundraiser.  The DREF Theater Party will also include a talkback session after the performance.

Deadline:Friday, December 9, 2016

You can also purchase by check payable to DREF and mail directly to: Delta Research and Educational Foundation, 1703 New Hampshire Ave., NW, Washington, D.C. 20009

A portion of your ticket cost will be a charitable donation to DREF.

Douglas has volunteered with DREF for more than a decade, most recently serving as the moderator at the Foundation’s talkback session for a theater party in New York City.  She is known for her roles in the WB television show The Parent ‘Hood, the Lifetime TV biopic Whitney, and films How Stella Got Her Groove Back, The Inkwell, Jason’s Lyric, and School of Rock.  Her theater credits include performances on Broadway in Tap Dance Kid, It’s a Grand Night for Singing and Three Penny Opera.
