The "Delta Queens" Are Back In The ATL

The Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) will engage in several program aspects of the 55th National Convention of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as it realizes its current theme: Standing Firm to Advance the Mission of DREF. DREF Board President Carolyn E. Lewis and DREF Executive Director Cheryl M. Thomas will present an update on the Foundation’s program and research endeavors and current calendar of activities at a plenary session.

Another major highlight will be the presentation of two workshops on current initiatives: the Delta Teacher Efficacy Campaign (DTEC) and Teachers Advocating to lead Great change (TAG) and DREF Research Matters for All of Us. These two workshops will outline the program scope and schedule of events for the 2021-22 program year.

DREF will also have three booths in the convention’s Exhibit Trade Show: a general information display, another focusing on DTEC-TAG, and one on DREF Research Matters. If you are attending convention, hope you will check out DREF agenda items.

As Delta's around the world participate both virtually and in person in the 55th National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) is pleased to offer the "Delta Queens" print. For a tax-deductible donation of $100 to DREF, you may receive this lovely art work. To make your donation, please click here:
The “Delta Queens,” a signed lithograph print by Atlanta artist Selma Glass is being offered to persons contributing $100 or more to DREF. Here is your opportunity to enjoy a win-win: support DREF with a tax-deductible donation and acquire a collectible work of art. “Delta Queens” was originally released at the 46th National Convention of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in 2002. A limited number of the prints remain and have been acquired by DREF to share with its donors at the 55th National Convention of DST. This is the last opportunity to add the “Delta Queens” collectible to your art collection…the print will be out-of-stock when these remaining prints are distributed.
