DREF Seeking a Senior Accountant
DREF is seeking applicants for the Foundation’s Senior Accountant position. The Senior Accountant is responsible for accounting for all of DREF’s financial transactions, managing financial processes and subsidiary ledgers, accounting for grant activity and funds; generating financial statements and reports; preparing for financial audits and tax reporting; tracking financial contracts and budgets; forecasting financial performance and performing all other critical financial management functions. The Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) is currently receiving applications to fill its Director of Programs position. The Director of Programs is responsible for overall strategic direction, leadership and management of research and educational programs as related to The Center for Research on African American Women (The Center) and grant/scholarship administration strategies designed to broaden the awareness and support of DREF and its mission. DREF Announces 2023-2024 Community Empowerment Grantmaking Opportunity
Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) awards Community Empowerment grants to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc chapters in one of the following areas: Civic Engagement; Educational Development; Financial Literacy for Youth; Health and Wellness or International Awareness. Submission deadline is March 31, 2023.

During this period, all staff members will be working remotely and will be available via email and/or telephone between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM (EST), Monday through Friday. DREF 's New Health Initiative - Project IMPACT: Diabetes Prevention
DREF is partnering with the American Pharmacists Association Foundation (APhA) to conduct a national diabetes prevention program. Entitled Project IMPACT: Diabetes Prevention, the initiative is a year-long education and wellness program that teaches participants skills needed to prevent Type 2 diabetes. DREF Board of Directors encourages you to renew or participate the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which enables them to donate to the 501 (c)(3) charity of their choice via automatic payroll deduction.
