2016-2017 Special Edition of PHILLIS Now Available!
The Delta Teacher Efficacy Campaign (DTEC) is a comprehensive project that began in July 2014. The project had three main goals, which were referred to as prongs. With the assistance and sacrifice from our many supporters, we are excited to announce that all three goals have been accomplished.
With 200 plus educators completing the Teacher Efficacy Academy (TEA), the training prong was satisfied with statistical significant outcomes. We were very fortunate to have forty community partners located across the nation to assist us in fulfilling our advocacy prong. Each partner hosted a Call to Action Town Hall Forum, which increased community dialogue around teacher efficacy as it relates to school/community improvement.
Our last and final prong for this inaugural execution of DTEC is publication. This goal was accomplished with the release of the 2016-2017 Special Edition of the PHILLIS Journal. This special edition includes scholarly articles about DTEC, the content utilized in our unique curriculum, personal narratives sharing inspirational stories about education, and book reviews.
The theme of the Special Edition is "Education: It's A Heart Matter!"™
All support is much appreciated. Please share the 2016-2017 PHILLIS Journal, special edition availability with your networks and ask them to support the causes of the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) by donating today!
