Sister Scholars Council Member Darlene Clark Hine is Fellow at Harvard University
For the 2011-12 academic year, Darlene Clark Hine, Ph.D, a member of the Sister Scholars Advisory Council of The Delta Foundation’s Center for Research on African American Women, has been selected as a Sheila Biddle Ford Foundation Fellow at Harvard University’s W.E. B. DuBois Institute for African and African American Research.

Major Federal Grant Awarded for HIV/AIDS Prevention in Farwest Region
The Farwest Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in conjunction with the Delta Research and Educational Foundation, was recently awarded a major grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Women’s Health.

Foundation for the Mid South Awards Grant to Delta Foundation
The Foundation for the Mid South recently awarded the Delta Research and Educational Foundation a $50,000 grant in the fall of 2010 to support several non-profit organizations benefiting from Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s IMPACT Day of Service. The grant was presented as challenge funds to match contributions from Delta chapters and their members.
